I think BCA and MCA are best for IT. They has totally concept of IT and I have learned them. If you are from science background and if you really have a intrested to software field you can go for BCA. After BCA, you can go for MCA to get a masters degree.

There are two possiblities:
1. BSc[IT] ---> MSc[IT] ---> Mtech
2. BSc[IT] ---> MBA in IT
I think these are the best IT route of degrees, now you need to decide which one you want to pursue.
