Importance of page titles?

It is the title of the web page and I will have some questions. It is important to exactly how or how much you want it to really work? I have a symbol or word limits need to be aware of some sort, and if so, do I have to have something to keep in mind when creating it? When I add keywords to the title phrase, recently listened to enhance the efficiency of the Web page, obviously this is my client that the long term wants. In that case the length cannot be modified or possible?

The title should contain keywords relating to the page and, in particular, to keywords most likely entered in search engines by those who are potential visitors to a site.
