Fireworks vs Illustrator: Need both?
Do you think it's necessary to learn both Fireworks and Illustrator?
For example I am strictly a web guy. No interest whatsoever in doing print work. To the extent that I ever need to use a Vector program (usually just for buttons and such, I'm not a graphic artist) I like to use Fireworks. Don't really feel much need to embark on the Illustrator learning curve. Is it really necessary for web designers to learn Illustrator as well?
