How to advertise on Linkedin

I did not use this site to much. Just made a profile and added some friends.
Still I hear that it is a great way to advertise your products there.
Any success campaign on that site? What did you do?

Step 1

Open a Web browser and navigate to linkedin.com/hiring. Click the yellow "Post a Job" button and sign in to your LinkedIn account on the following screen.
Step 2

Type the position and your company name in the top two boxes and click the "Enter Location" link below. A "Job Price Calculator" opens.
Step 3

Select the country name from the drop-down menu, type the postal code in the box below and click the number of positions you want to advertise. You can choose one, five or ten positions. Click "Continue" to close the Job Price Calculator and return to the job description section.
Step 4

Click the drop-down boxes next to "Type," "Experience," "Industry" and "Function" and select your preferred descriptors. Type the compensation description in the box below, then type the referral bonus description in the box below that if applicable.
Step 5

Type the full job description, skills, experience, and company information in the appropriate boxes. This section lets you write longer, more detailed descriptions.
Step 6

Click "Collect Applications on LinkedIn and Be Notified by Email" or "Direct Candidates to an External Site to Apply" and type the appropriate email address or website address. Click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page to proceed to the billing page.
Step 7

Type your credit card information into the boxes on the billing page and click the "Buy Now" button at the bottom of the screen to post your position advertisement.
